Ashlee Simpson, Evan Ross’ Engagement Inspired By ‘Game Of Thrones’? ‘Hunger Games: Mockingjay’ Actor’s Sister Say Jessica Simpson’s Sibling Is “So Sweet”
Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross' engagement party was apparently inspired by the HBO series hit "Game of Thrones" and the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay" actor's sister hinted that her brother and Jessica Simpson's sister are fans of the fantasy genre.
"Evan looked like he came from Game of Thrones," Tracee Ross told E! News during the MOCA's 35th anniversary gala presented by Louis Vuitton.
"And that's part of what's sweet about the two of them together. They both have a similar sense of play and fantasy. The party was amazing," she added.
During Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross' engagement party last week, the "Pieces of Me" singer was wearing a feathered headpiece like those by showgirls in Vegas while Evan Ross was wearing a fur coat (presumably faux).
Evan Ross' sister Tracee said that they are heels in love with Ashlee Simpson because she has "heart of gold."
"I swear to God, she's like a mushy love, and she's so sweet," she said.
"We're a big family," Tracee said. "We love siblings. We love big family stuff, and I got two more sisters now. So, it's really cool. Who knew I was going to grow up and have Ashlee and Jessica Simpson as my new siblings?!"
Prior to the Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross' engagement party, the "Hunger Games: Mockingjay" actor said that he wanted to be married to the singer the soonest possible time.
"Honestly, we could go and get married right now, wherever," he said. "This is the most incredible time I could ever think of in my life and I'm young, but the same time, I've lived a different life than most and I can't think of a happier moment."
Diana Ross, who just celebrated her 70th birthday last week, is also very hands-on whether it was the Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross' engagement party or their wedding, which should be due anytime soon.
"My mom is helping plan my wedding right now," Evan Ross said. "She's involved in all levels of my life."
