Pregnant Scarlett Johansson Scared Being Make Up Free? ‘The Avengers' Actress Uncomfortable To Go ‘Under The Skin’

Pregnant Scarlett Johansson is apparently scared of going out make-up free even if she's considered one of the world's sexiest people. And that's not her only insecurity, as the "Avengers" actress is also uncomfortable of going nude in "Under the Skin."

Just recently, the gorgeous actress admitted to getting panicked during the shoot for the 20th anniversary issue of Vanity Fair when she found out that she's going make-up free.

The photographer for the photoshoot, Chuck Close, is known for shooting his models au naturel, MailOnline said.

"I don't do glamour shots, and they're not airbrushed or whatever. So they can be, um...they can be rough,"

The pregnant Scarlett Johansson, who is expecting her first baby with fiancé Roman Dauriac, guested in Queen Latifah's show on Tuesday and she asked the director to move back the camera when it zoomed for an extreme-closeup.

"It seemed so close, move that camera... I want to put my hair in my face and make it messy," she said.

In "Under the Skin," the pregnant Scarlett Johansson plays an alien who lures men to harvest them. Of course, that entails some nudity as she plays a very sexual being. She revealed that she's very hesitant to be in the buff because "it's going to be a screenshot for someone."

The pregnant Scarlett Johansson claimed that she was always weighing the nude scenes for "Under the Skin" and decide whether or not they are needed or gratuitous.

"Is this a vanity project, or is this an important part of this character's journey to self discovery ... I'm not a provocative person. It's not like I live to be photographed in the buff or anything like that," she said.

However, she also credited "Under the Skin" for helping her become more aware of all the judgments and limitations she places on herself.

"It was really challenging but it was interesting like, 'I really am self-conscious about this or I'm holding on to this idea I should look like that,'" she said. "We all have it. I guess as a woman, we have it more, I don't know."
