Naya Rivera And Big Sean Break Up: Wedding, Engagement Called Off Because ‘Glee’ Star Makes More Money? Unfollows Boyfriend On Twitter

Naya Rivera and Big Sean's break up came as a surprise to many fans, who were looking forward to the wedding of the "Glee" star and her rapper boyfriend. Was their engagement called off because Naya Rivera makes more money? Rivera recently unfollowed Big Sean on Twitter.

"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off," Big Sean's rep said in a statement, Us Weekly reports. "The recent rumors and accusations reported by so-called or fake sources are simply untrue."

"Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter," the statement continues.

But fans who pay close attention to Naya Rivera's Twitter account may not be shocked that their engagement is off.

On April 9, Naya tweeted, "@bigsean stealing rolexes from a lady's house now. Maybe cuz I'm on Glee and making more money or something. #triflin."

The tweet was quickly deleted, Wetpaint reports. But those who noticed the post on Twitter may have seen a red flag go up for Naya and Big Sean's relationship.

Wetpaint also reports that Naya's is no longer following Big Sean on Twitter, which is especially significant considering the social media platform was the reason the "Glee" star started dating the rapper.

"I actually started following him on Twitter and I mentioned that I was a big fan," Naya told Da Man magazine in the April/ May 2014 issue of, E! News reports. "Then some fans started to alert him that I was following him. His assistant happens to be a big fan ofGlee, knows my character on the show and knows who I am. So Big Sean became curious and started to ask who I was," the now single star told the publication. "A date was set, and it all just happened from there. The way our relationship blossomed is like any other relationship. We went on a date and we enjoyed each other's company; we went on another and another, and it developed like any normal relationship."

Big Sean, 26, and the 27-year-old "Glee" star got engaged last October, after nearly a year of dating.
