Katy Perry And John Mayer Break Up 2014 Won't Distract 'Roar' Songstress On Her Upcoming Tour; 'It's Probably For The Best,' Says Source

Katy Perry and John Mayer's break up might be a painful chapter in the 'Roar' singer's life but it does not mean that she will let it affect her career. News about Katy Perry and John Mayer's break up started surfaced last February. Mayer allegedly cheated on the 29-year-old songstress but despite such speculation, Perry is still determined to amaze her fans for her upcoming Prismatic World Tour.

Katy Perry's tour series will officially commence next month in Belfast, Northern Ireland. According to E! Online's source: "Katy is focused on her tour right now. She is not allowing anything to distract her from it."

The source adds that Perry is currently in "great spirits". However, prior to Katy Perry and John Mayer's break up, the two reportedly kept on fighting.

Is the split is a blessing in disguise?

"She's stressed about the tour, they've been fighting. It is probably for the best, because she is going to be on tour for forever. Of course this happens all the time, I can't keep track anymore. But for now they are done," claims another source from Us Weekly.

Katy Perry and John Mayer had an on-off relationship for the past two years. This time, however, Perry will not take Mayer back should he ask for another chance.

The 'Thinking of You' singer reportedly thought that the 36-year-old already changed his old womanizing ways but in the end, Perry just found herself feeling disappointed.

Recently, Perry has been linked to Robert Pattinson. Though the two says that they are nothing but friends, some cannot help but give meaning to their flirtatious relationship.
