Lindsay Lohan Drug Addiction Story Gains Oprah Winfrey's Approval; Media Mogul 'Really Pleased' That LiLo's Trying Her Best To Stay Sober

Lindsay Lohan's drug addiction story depicts the life of a radiant actress whose life turned awry when she succumbed to the negative things that come with being famous. Instead of being ashamed of the things that she went through, LiLo wanted to use them as other's source of inspiration. This is why she agreed to create 'Lindsay', a weekly documentary being aired on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

In an interview with the 'Late Show with David Letterman', the 'Mean Girls' actress talked about her documentary. She likewise urged Letterman to call Winfrey to give her insights on the documentary.

The media mogul answered the call with no hesitations and when asked by Letterman about her perception on Lohan's new path, she said: "I think she's doing really OK. To have cameras following you around for every phase of your life, and you are trying to pull your life together, I think that's a really difficult thing. So, yeah, we're really pleased she's making some progress."

The 'Parent Trap' actress, apparently surprised with Winfrey's words,
started to cry. To bring back the show's light aura, Letterman joked:
"Oprah, I've spent 30 years trying to pull my life together. Where have you been?"

'Lindsay' shows the red-haired beauty's struggle to maintain her sobriety. Lohan chooses to admits her mistakes in the documentary but says they're all part of the changing process.

Recently, she made news because of the celebrity hook-up list which she allegedly wrote during a night-out session with her friends. The list
includes several prominent names such as James Franco, Adam Levine, and Zac Efron.
