Big Sean And Naya Rivera Wedding Cancellation Because Of ‘Glee’ Star’s Jealousy? Did She Feel Bad When Rapper Beau Released A Love Song For His Ex-Girlfriend?

Many were stunned when Big Sean and Naya Rivera's wedding date has been cancelled. Though the couple did not mention anything about their wedding preparations, it was clear that the rapper called off his engagement with the 'Glee' actress last April 9.

Speculations surfaced as to why Big Sean and Naya Rivera halted their engagement. While some accuse Big Sean of cheating, a new report by TMZ's sources claims that Rivera was too "controlling" and "jealous" which eventually took a toll on their relationship.

The 27-year-old actress reportedly always questions Sean's fidelity. Even female fans are no exceptions when it comes to Rivera's jealousy fits. At one point, the Valencia-born model allegedly broke a lamp because of her paranoia.

Another possible reason for Rivera's jealousy is Sean's latest song 'Ashley' which is an ode for his ex-girlfriend whom he parted ways with in 2013.

The couple's broken engagement comes just days after Star magazine reported that Sean had been cheating on Rivera. Although Sean's rep debunked the rumors, there's still a ton of speculation that the rapper has still been in contact with his ex-girlfriend, whom he recently released an ode to in his latest song/music video "Ashley."

Despite this struggle, the couple realizes that their relationship is worth saving, that's why they are currently undergoing couple's counseling. The 26-year-old rapper's representative released a statement regarding the broken engagement:

"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off. The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."

Last February 28, Sean described the feeling of being engaged to the model: "It feels crazy to be engaged, it's easy though, it's one of the easiest things I've done. Naya, is just, who wouldn't be engaged to her, she's just cool. We're learning about each other, sometimes we have problems, just like everybody, but we always work it out. I feel like love conquers all, so we just young and living."

Rivera appears to be moving on for she unfollowed Sean on Twitter and attended a Marie Claire event sans her engagement ring on April 9.
