Chris Brown Jail Time 2014: ‘Loyal’ Singer Promises He’ll ‘Never F*** Up Again,’ Rihanna’s Ex Boyfriend Says Sentence Is ‘Worst Experience Of My Life’

Chris Brown could be facing a lot of jail time in 2014 if he's found guilty for a misdemeanor assault and he's starting to feel regretful. The "Loyal" singer is reportedly promising to "never f*** up again."

A source who recently spoke with Chris Brown on the phone told TMZ that Rihanna's ex boyfriend feels like "a caged animal" in jail, calling it "the worst experience of my life."

He's telling people on the phone, "I'll never f*** up again."

Chris Brown has been behind bars since March 14, when he allegedly violated the terms of his probation set after his 2009 felony assault conviction involving his girlfriend at the time, Rihanna. If he's found guilty for a misdemeanor assault in DC, this will violate his probation ordered after Chris Brown pleaded guilty in 2009 for the assault charge. He could face up to four years in jail.

"He should have a legitimate concern that his probation could be revoked in his Los Angeles case," said Jonathan Franklin, a prominent Los Angeles criminal defense attorney, the Washington Times reports. "A person does not have to be found guilty of the new charge in order to trigger a probation violation hearing.

D.C. Metropolitan Police arrested Brown in 2013 after he and his bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, became involved in an altercation with two men who tried to take a photograph with the singer in front of the W Hotel, according to the Washington Times.

Chris Brown's misdemeanor assault trial begins Thursday at D.C. Superior Court. If found guilty, he could face up to four years in a California prison - a criminal charge in any jurisdiction could violate his probation, which was ordered by a Los Angeles judge five years ago when the singer struck Rihanna after a party just before the Grammy Awards, the Washington Times reports. She suffered injuries to her face and was hospitalized.
