"24: Live Another Day" is nearly two weeks away from its May 5 premiere, and new spoilers reveal that Chloe O'Brian will be a "key part" of "24" reboot's plot. Recently-released promo photos and the official trailer reveal that Fox's "24: Live Another Day" will shift the plot's focus to Chloe O'Brian in this reboot.

"She really is such a key part of this show. We love Jack Bauer, and he's the mainstay, but Chloe has created such an important persona," Fox executive vp marketing Laurel Bernard said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. "She's easily recognizable, and whenever we do research about the show, people call her out by name."

The publication reveals spoilers that suggest Chloe, like Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer, is revisited in the "24" reboot in very different circumstances: the former CTU analyst is now an off-the-grid hacker, working (in punk clothes) for a WikiLeaks-esque website devoted to exposing government secrets.

And fans are ready for her. The "24: Live Another Day" teasers were among the most viral moments of the 2014 Super Bowl, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"We're making sure that people know they can jump into this show without having to experience the history of it all," Bernard added. "And having fewer episodes is going to really open it up a lot of new people."

Sutherland, 47, admitted that Jack will be angrier - and older - in "24: Live Another Day."

Agent Jack Bauer, who Sutherland hasn't played since "24" ended with season 8 in 2010, might be "a little slower" as the years catch up with him.

"I have to kind of skip, hop before I can start to run, just so I don't snap a tendon," he joked.

"If it was at all possible to make Jack more angry or pissed off than he was before, that's what we're gonna try and do with the ninth season," Sutherland hinted, DigitalSpy.com reports.

Sutherland and Rajskub will be joined by fellow "24" veterans Kim Raver and William Devane. New cast additions include Tamer Hassan, Stephen Fry, Yvonne Strahovski and Colin Salmon.
