'Heroes: Reborn' 2015 Cast To Not Include Hayden Panettiere? Blonde Beauty Says She Was 'Shocked' And Only Found Out About The Series Revival Through Cousin

Fans have a reason to rejoice for it has been confirmed that the 'Heroes: Reborn' will be having 13 episodes which will air in 2015. NBC has decided to renew the hit series. However, Hayden Panettiere might not be included in the 'Heroes: Reborn' 2015 cast. As a matter of fact, the blonde beauty only found out about the revival through her family member.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, the 24-year-old who played the role of cheerleader Claire Bennet, talked about her reaction on the rumored 'Heroes: Reborn' 2015 cast: "Well, it was a shock to me. In fact, I believe I became privy to that through my cousin. She sent me a text message about it."

"I mean, we had nothing, nothing to do with it. It will definitely be interesting to see how they reinvent it," she added. Even if she will not be a part of the 'Heroes: Reborn' 2015 cast, the 'Nashville' actress sees a positive thing about it.

"I think it's a whole new set of characters. Who knows? It's a little bit of an interesting feeling because you go, 'That was our show, our home, our family,' something that we had a major part in creating," she gushed.

Nonetheless, she's crossing her fingers that there will be a new set of characters and not just replacement celebrities for their former characters: "I hope that they don't have somebody else playing our characters, that would be a little dagger in the heart. But, you never know. I wish them success in it, for sure."

As per NBC president Jennifer Salke, the media corporation decided to re-launch the series because of its success in 2006. She likewise confirmed that creator Tim Kring would be back for the new installment.
