‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Movie News: Dakota Johnson’s Parents ‘Won't Be Watching’ Her As Anastasia Steele; Will It Be Rated R?

Dakota Johnson revealed that her famous parents "won't be watching" the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie without her permission! Will the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie be rated R?

Some fans are worried that the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie will leave out key scenes due to their obscenity, thereby allowing younger fans to hit the cinemas - if the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie is rated R, anyone under 18 years old will not be able to contribute to the box office and watch it in theaters.

Whether or not the film will have all the S&M scenes, Dakota Johnson claims "Fifty Shades of Grey" is too much for her famous parents, Hollywood stars Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith.

"No, they won't be watching the movie - not with my permission. Anyway, I don't think the movie is something that my parents would want to see!" Dakota Johnson said of her parents, at Singapore's Calvin Klein event last week, Entertainmentwise reports.

Dakota Johnson will play Anastasia Steele, who falls deeply in love with Jamie Dornan's character Christian Grey before falling deeply into his sexual world.

"Everything is a little bit secret but I can tell you that I think people will be pleased with the movie, hopefully!" she added at the red carpet event.

"I'm doing this movie because I love it and I believe in the story and I believe in the books and I hope that I will do them justice."

Fans eagerly await to hear confirmation of the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie rating. Cinema Blend reports that it is likely the film will have an R rating.

But producer Dana Brunetti has other ideas, The Daily Mail reports.

"I always thought it would be really cool if we released the R version [18 in Britain] and then we had an NC-17 version that we released a few weeks later," he said.

"Everybody could go and enjoy the R version, and then if they really wanted to see it again and get a little bit more gritty with it then have that NC-17 version out there as well. That is my idea, but the fans and the studio [Universal Pictures] will benefit from the double dip..."
