‘Neon Lights’ Demi Lovato Dating 2014: Wilmer Valderrama Defended On Twitter After Daily Beast Writes ‘Horrible Things’ About Boyfriend, She Claims

Demi Lovato took to Twitter to defend her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama after the Daily Beast wrote "horrible things" about the actor, the "Neon Lights" singer claims.

According to the Huffington Post, Demi Lovato lashed out at the Daily Beast over an article that claimed her boyfriend, "That 70's Show" star Wilmer Valderrama, is "so culturally irrelevant he relies on the commodification of his young girlfriend's body in order to re-enter the current celebrity conversation." The article was referring to the alleged topless photos of the 21-year-old singer that leaked this past weekend.

Lovato responded by defending her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama and tweeted at The Daily Beast on April 10: "@thedailybeast such a classy "news site" you are. Writing horrible things about people you know NOTHING about. Get a LIFE you ignorant f***s"

The alleged topless photos of Demi Lovato depict her in bed with 34-year-old Valderrama and were first obtained and posted by Egotastic on April 5. Many are claiming that the woman in the photos share the same tattoos as Lovato.

While neither Lovato nor Valderrama has officially responded since the photos were leaked, the "Neon Lights" singer recently tweeted a photo of herself wearing boxing gloves, writing in Spanish, "Soy fuerte. Soy luchadora. Asi que no me subestimen," which translates to, "I am strong. I am a fighter. Do not underestimate me," The Huffington Post reports.

Wilmer and Demi have been on and off since splitting in January 2012. They were spotted out together on numerous occasions in 2013, sparking rumors that they were dating again.
