Will Taylor Swift's songs soon be heard on 'Girls' TV series? As per recent reports, the 24-year-old songstress has agreed to have a cameo appearance in Lena Dunham's 'Girls' Season 4. Dunham is reportedly fond of Swift that she even offered a long-term role.

"Lena's been trying to persuade Taylor to appear in 'Girls' for ages. Taylor loves the show and has agreed to a cameo. Lena would also love her to take on a more permanent role and to pen some music for the show," claimed one insider.

Taylor Swift's songs might be deemed appropriate for 'Girls' Season 4 since they have several insights about love and friendship struggles that a woman go through. Apart from the 'Red' lyrics songstress, Victoria's Secret Angel might likewise join the show as per recommendation of Swift.

"Taylor told Lena that Cara is a huge fan of 'Girls'. Lena immediately agreed because Cara is her girl crush. She has been in touch with Cara's people already to discuss the idea," said one insider to Grazia magazine.

Since her rumored falling out with best friend Selena Gomez, Swift has been spotted having dates with Delevingne as well as other celebrities like Lorde and Karlie Kloss.

Previously, Dunham confessed how she sometimes use Taylor Swift songs as inspirations for the show's scenes: "She writes her own destiny in a way which is very unusual, especially for a young woman in the world of pop music. I wrote half of the first season of 'Girls' listening to her 'Speak Now' album and wrote much of the third season listening to 'Red'."
