Prince William And Kate Middleton Baby George Goes Back To UK With An Unusual Gift; Royal Couple Thanks Australia And New Zealand For The 'Warm Memories'

Prince William and Kate Middleton's highly publicized Australia and New Zealand tour recently came to an end. To wrap up the three-week tour, the royal family did several activities including making music at the Adelaide DJ decks and having a romantic stroll at the aboriginal site of Uluru. They likewise honored war veterans during the Anzac Day prior to going back to UK.

Prince William and Kate Middleton baby George might be young but his parents think that he enjoyed his first trip overseas. During the royal family's pre-departure cocktail reception at the Government House, Prince William said:

"Reluctantly, Catherine, George and I leave Australia tomorrow. Thank you for the warmth and generosity that has been shown to us during our visit. We go away with wonderful memories, and George goes away with his cuddly wombat, which he has taken to chewing so lovingly. We greatly look forward to coming back. And when we do return, it will be to marvel again at all that Australia is and will yet become."

On the actual day of their departure, Prince William and Kate Middleton attended an Anzac Day ceremony which commemorated those who sacrificed their lives. They also took part in a memorial in Canberra wherein they laid posies on the Tomb of the Unknown Australian Soldier with a handwritten note which read: "In every second of every day, you will be remembered for your courage and your bravery. Thank you for your sacrifice and for what you have done for us. For that, I am truly grateful."

One royal insider reveals that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have "immensely enjoyed" their tour not just for the picturesque spots and fun activities but most especially, the warmth which the people extended towards them.
