Kevin Durant Wins NBA MVP Award And Fourth Scoring Title In Five Seasons: A Look Back At His Best Moments From The 2013-14 Season

Kevin Durant is the MVP for the 2013-14 NBA Season after averaging 32.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game.

With Durant playing the best season of his NBA career, fans debate that it will be Durant's dynasty from this point on. Since LeBron James is surrounded by two other All-Stars in Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, he doesn't need to put up monster numbers every night.

With Durant statistically carrying the Oklahoma City Thunder on top of the league, with a on and off Russell Westbrook on his side, they are now looking highly on the biggest prize of the tournament as they make their way into the second round of the playoffs.

With Kevin Durant winning his first MVP award this season, here is a look back at his best moments from the 2013-2014 season:

1. Four-time Scoring Champion

On this fourth out of five seasons, Kevin Durant ruled the entire league by dominating the charts and winning the scoring title including this season four times in five years.

2. All praises received from last season's MVP throughout the season

Throughout the season, Durantula has been impressing fans, coaches and even players throughout the league including last year's MVP, LeBron James, who has nothing but praises for Durant.

"I would say he's the most consistent basketball player as far as the MVP this year, man," James said. "He's put up some great numbers."

3. Consecutive 25-point games

Durant broke records this year by having 41 straight games with 25-points or more which surely impressed coaches and analysts including Magic Johnson.

''He does everything,'' New Orleans coach Monty Williams said. ''You just can't recall a guy that long who can do what he does every single night. Shooting from 30 feet on the floor with confidence and driving to the basket and dunking on guys, and then go post up, and on top of it, a great teammate and good kid.''

Even Hall Of Famer Magic Johnson has expressed his opinion on why he deserves the crown during the peak of his unbelievable streak this season.

He said on the night KD scored 51: "Kevin Durant scoring 51 points sealed the deal on the NBA MVP race." Durant also poured in 12 rebounds and 7 assists while draining 7-of-12 attempts from beyond the arc including the game-winner from way downtown with 1.7 seconds left in the second overtime.

His consecutive games with 25 or more points is the third longest in the league's history.

4. Carried his team without Westbrook

His teammate Russell Westbrook, meanwhile, agrees with LeBron on how effective Durant can be while Westbrook goes on and off in the sidelines during the regular season because of injuries.

''He's been the most consistent guy all season long,'' Westbrook said at the end of the regular season. ''He's done a great job of leading us to where we are now. He's basically put himself in front of everybody else in the league and shown that he's the best player in the world.''
