PS4 MLB The Show 14 Review [NEWS UPDATE]: Crash Delay? Next-Generation Baseball Title Experiences ‘Unforeseen Technical Issues’

The Playstation 4 version of MLB The Show 14 is not yet available digitally only because of "unforeseen technical issues," a Playstation blog post revealed this morning, leaving many gamers wondering if it may have been delayed by an internal crash.

"Due to unforeseen technical issues, MLB 14 The Show for PS4 is not currently available for download via the PlayStation Store. All parties are working as quickly as possible to remedy the issue," the blog post reads.

Polygon reports however that the game has recently become available on the PlayStation store, after a 14-hour release date lag.

"We apologize for any frustration and thank the community for its patience and understanding," a Sony representative wrote in an e-mail to Polygon.

MLB The Show 14 is expected to be one of the PS4's most popular titles for 2014.
