Upcoming ZTE Phones 2014: Blade L2 Hits Europe, Midrange Specs Incl. 5" Display, Quad-Core CPU, 1GB RAM, 5MP Shooter

Upcoming ZTE phones 2014: If you live in Europe and you do not have enough options for affordable Android handsets, then this new ZTE smartphone may interest you.

Dubbed as the ZTE Blade L2, the Android-powered smartphone as now arrived in European soil and can now be purchased. Unfortunately, no pricing details have been revealed yet, though we will make sure to update you.

So what makes the ZTE Blade L2 special? Nothing really, aside from its expected cheap price tag.

The Chinese manufacturer has been doing well in terms of releasing quality handsets, though it has been overtaken by newcomers Xiaomi, Huawei and even Lenovo who do not even specialize on smartphones.

In case you are wondering whether you will get this ZTE phone or not, it is powered by a quad-core CPU running at 1.3GHz, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory, hopefully with an option for microSD storage expansion.

The Blade L2 also packs a 5-inch display with 800 x 480 resolution, a 5MP primary camera and a 0.2MP front cam for selfies and video calls. But we can only imagine how bad such front cam shots would be using this kind of camera sensor.

In the report by Android Community, the ZTE Blade L2 is now available in Spain and Greece but pricing details have not yet been disclosed. The Android powered device is said to arrive in other countries in the coming months, including Germany, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom. The smartphone would also be available internationally in markets in Latin America such as Mexico, Chile, Columbia and Venezuela.

This ZTE handset is by all means not a contender for the Android crown, but it has a target audience - those who are on a tight budget. We just hope the Chinese manufacturer would be able to get the most out of its lower midrange device.
