Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Movie News:The new trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is out and it looks like director Jonathan Liebesman, who made the films "Wrath of the Titans," and "Battle Los Angeles," is staying close to the dark tone of the original comics.The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie will take place in a dim and dark New York City that under the thumb of Shredder and his evil Foot Clan.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the reboot, Megan Fox, Whoopi Goldberg, William Fichtner and Will Arnett and it reminds us that "Heroes are not born. They're created." Megan Fox is a hot turtle.

Michael Bay, who directed the Transformers series, is the TMNS producer. Michael Bay's production company, Platinum Dunes, has spent the last decade rebooting slasher franchises like "Friday The 13th," "Nightmare On Elm Street" and "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre."

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman told Comic Book Resources. "I know everybody is like, 'Oh, Michael Bay, Michael Bay, Michael Bay, he's gonna ruin it! He's gonna destroy it!' But everyone I have encountered has been nothing more than incredibly sincere to try and bring the Turtles back in a way that's new, fresh and exciting, but with total respect to everything that's come before. I've read the script. I have a cameo in the move. It's awesome - really fun."

The film stars Tony Shalhoub as Splinter, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, and Johnny Knoxville as Leonardo.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is scheduled to be released in 3D and Conventional Theaters on August 8, 2014.
