The Mets offense was limited to a .157 average vs the Marlins, totaling three runs in the series. David Wright is 10 for 26 with four doubles in six games, but he hasn't homered since opening day, and has two RBIs in his past eight games.
"I've always said that I don't try and go out there and hit home runs," Wright told the team's official website. "They just kind of happen. Hopefully, I can continue to hit line drives, continue to hit the ball hard, and then every once in a while, you'll get one with elevation and loft and start hitting the ball out of the ballpark."
