U-KISS Spreads K-Pop Love in Cambodia!

Group U-KISS visited Cambodia with an NGO volunteering organization.

U-KISS left for Cambodia with the NGO on June 17 after wrapping up their schedule in Korea. The fans had filled up the airport despite the team arriving at the late hour past midnight.

Cambodia is not a country that has had a huge K-Pop influence yet, but the growing fan base has been evident.

The group traveled to the outskirts of the capital for a special visit to a local school as part of a special volunteer activity with an NGO.

The members interacted with the kids and passed out baseball hats and other baseball equipments.

The media coverage on UKISS the first K-Pop group to visit Cambodia was huge, with the reporters covering the team's whereabouts and the most recent updates without rest.

After the volunteer event U-KISS held a large fan meeting. There were 5,000 fans that attended the fan meeting on June 18 with U-KISS's own fan club "Kiss Me" taking 500 of the seats. The meeting took place in the spectacular Diamond Island. There was even a surprise visit from the prime minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen and his family.

Now after returning from Cambodia, U-KISS is planning to focus on promoting its recently released special album and title song "Believe." The group is also set to embark on a 9 city nation-wide tour in Japan.
