Android 4.4.3 Release Date Allegedly Coming To Samsung Galaxy Note 3 And Galaxy S5, What Features Could It Bring?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is approaching its first birthday, and a new report claims that the phablet would soon have the Android 4.4.3 release date which Samsung phone owners have been waiting for.

According to a report by GSM Arena, a tweet from user @Superphone shows an image wherein the 5.7-inch Android phone has begun testing the Android 4.4.3 build and should be completed next month.

In the alleged leaked image, the Samsung Galaxy S5 has also been in the works for the past couple of weeks and is reportedly completed.

While all of these updates are certainly promising especially for Samsung consumers who are already anxiously waiting for any Android updates, the photos post some problems of its own. Aside from the fact that the words 'Update Status Report (4.4.3)' is detached from the chart, there are some weird font changes as far as some details are concerned.

Still, it could very well be that Samsung may opt to skip on version 4.4.3 and just head straight 4.4.4 or even 4.5 when Google announces the new version.

This just means we should not take this rumor too seriously. Still, here is hoping that there is some truth to the rumor.

Announced back in 2013 during the IFA event in Berlin, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is certainly the top Android phone whether we talk about smartphones or phablets. As the first Snapdragon 800-run smartphone by Samsung, it is certainly a must-have for Android geeks who just cannot get enough of RAM and processor hungry games and applications.

The Note 3 was particularly popular due to its faux leather back which makes it more stylish than previous Galaxy Note versions. It also helped that the Android device came up with some hype following the debut of the Galaxy Gear, though it turned out to be an initial failure for the Korean brand.
