Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi Divorce Rumors Resurface After Sofia Vergara Gets Too Close With Ellen

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi divorce rumors have been rampant over the past few months. Divorce rumors resurfaced after "Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara broke up with fiance Nick Loeb. Rampant tabloid reports say Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are headed towards the brink of a $220 million divorce.

According to OK! Magazine, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi and Sofia Vergara are in the middle of a not-so-love triangle. The magazine said that Portia is jealous of Ellen's friendship with Sofia.

A source told OK!, "Portia always resented Ellen's friendship with Sofia, and now that Sofia is leaning on Ellen for support, she's even more jealous."

The reports say that Sofia turned to Ellen for help when she was breaking up with her fiance Nick Loeb. The reports further say that Portia is of Sofia's behavior with Ellen, which the magazine describes as touchy feely.

DeGeneres and de Rossi have been the subject of divorce rumors since last year. The Ellen host even denied any trouble in her marriage on her TV show. "There's not one ounce of truth to any of it. I am very happily married. The only thing we ever argue about is who loves who more, it really is true."

DeGeneres and de Rossi had an intimate, cozy, ceremony six years ago on August 16, 2008. The couple looks like they have the perfect marriage. DeGeneres told People Magazine in January, "The truth is, and this is corny, I fall more in love with Portia all the time. I really do. She surprises me all the time. Ellen DeGenere host stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" before the Academy Awards to address the rumors, telling Kimmel "I read that we were getting divorced, and I went and told her, and she was sad. We both were so sad. I couldn't believe that we were getting divorced, so I guess we are."

"It's so ridiculous to me," DeGemeres continued. "There's not one ounce of truth to any of it. I'm very happily married. In fact, the only thing we ever argue about is who loves who more. That is all. It really is true."

Sources told OK! Magazine the couple "want to show their commitment to each other." The source continued "There have been a lot of headlines suggesting that their relationship is in trouble. They want to quash them. It's going to be something of a second honeymoon... a simple ceremony, followed by a beautiful dinner party for a few loved ones." According to Star Magazine's weekly cover issue, Ellem DeGeneres has been getting plastic surgery work done in an effort to quash divorce rumors with Portia De Rossi. Ellen apparently has had some minor work done.

"She's taught me lessons about myself," DeGeneres said when the couple first got married, "and I feel like I've taught her. We've both changed and grown, and we just feel like, 'Oh, okay, this is completion.'" Six years later they have found reason to celebrate a new completion, one filled with renewal.
