Upcoming LG Phones 2014: LG G Pro 2 Lite Under Development, Tipped To Hit Verizon As LG Vista

In spite what the competition brings to the table, there are still upcoming LG phones in 2014 which may pique your interest.

Before the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February, the Korean manufacturer has already announced the LG G Pro 2 which is the successor of the Optimus G Pro which was released last year.

The phone is quite a beast in terms of specifications, and it could be evenly matched with the Samsung Galaxy S5 if the two were to be put to the test.

Unfortunately, the device is exclusive in Korea for now.

However, in a report by GSM Arena, it looks like LG has had a change of heart and will launch another version of the device on Verizon in the US. The leak came from notorious leakster EV Leaks, who tweeted an image of the phablet with Verizon's branding. It also came with the caption "Everyone loves a good mystery, so let the games begin. This is ..."

Dubbed as the G Pro 2 Lite, the device will be renamed LG Vista once it arrives to Verizon and is expected to boast similar dimensions to the G Pro 2, with slightly lower-end specifications.

The upcoming LG phablet bound for Verizon is expected to hit its brick and mortar and online stores on July 17 so you better watch out for this one.

If you are a fan of huge smartphones which do not break the bank, then you may want to give this one a try.

Unfortunately, further details about the device's specs, features are not available except for the descriptions which mention the LG Vista having a rubberized shell that will come with the device. Pricing details are not yet announced.

We will bring you more details of the LG G Pro 2 Lite or LG Vista in the coming weeks.
