Rick Ross Weight Loss: Result Of CrossFit Workout Or Stomach Stapling Surgery? Rapper Slams Detroit Angry Mob Controversy

Rick Ross weight loss fueled rumors of undergoing under the knife after a drastic change when he showed up and performed at the Hot 107.9′s Birthday Bash 19, along with TI, Drake and Meek Mill. Meanwhile, the rapper belied rumors that he was confronted with an angry mob in Detroit.

The site MediaTakeOut claimed through a source that Rick Ross weight loss procedure was a result of an extreme procedure to his stomach.

"[Ross] can't really eat after he had [the procedure]. If he eats more than about 4 or 5 wings he THROWS UP cause his stomach is too small. He can still drink, but he can't really eat like he used to anymore," according to the website.

However, in an earlier interview by the rapper with a radio station, the Rick Ross weight loss was apparently a result of eating healthy and doing exercises.

"You know, I've been doing this CrossFit thing, you know, shout-out to Reebok, we had started doing that, you know, last year, sometime and you know, it's just catching up a little bit," Rick Ross told 93.9 WKYS FM.

He also said that he realized it was time to make changes to his lifestyle.

"It was just time for me to tighten up a little bit, you know what I'm saying. As far as, you know, me working out...I have no destination, no specific weight," he said.

Meanwhile, the rapper slammed the report about being mobbed by an angry mob in Detroit concert. According to TMZ, he was denied entrance to the concert by Hot 107.5's Summer Jamz 17 last Saturday when the gate to the entrance was locked.

However, he said that nobody confronted his entourage nor there was no mob that made him fear for his safety and his group. The only thing he regretted is the fact that people waiting in line for hours didn't get to see him perform.

"Somebody is deceiving the people of Detroit like Kwame Kilpatrick did," he toldTMZ.
