Bosnia will face off against Iran in a group match of the Brazil World Cup 2014 tournament, pitting two Group F teams against each other.
Bosnia, ranked 21st in the world by FIFA, is expected to be the favorite in the match.
The European team's coach Safet Sušić said Edin Dzeko is his team's Messi, the Boston Herald reports.
"He is equally important to us as Cristiano Ronaldo is for Portugal, as Neymar is to Brazil, as Messi to Argentina," Susic said, according to the Boston Herald.
"That is how important he is to us."
Iran, ranked 43rd in the world, is expected to be the underdog of the match.
The Middle Eastern team's manager Carlos Queiroz said he wants to renew his contract with the team.
"We need to pick ourselves up in the match against Bosnia because if we try to copy other teams it would be wrong," he said, according to the Tehran Times.
"If you look at the results of the other teams there are just few sides going to the third match having the hope of qualify. We are one of these teams and we will fight till the end to reach to the next round."
