Rumor mill for Nexus 10 2 release date continue to churn as Google I/O 2014 happens.
Previous grapevines regarding Nexus 10 2 release date suggested that the 2nd generation of the 10-inch tablet might be introduced by Google during its I/O 2014 conference, which is scheduled today, June 25 until tomorrow, June 26.
But based on the recap of the Google I/O 2014 keynote posted on Wall Street Journal, there is no mention of the Nexus 10 2.
There are speculations suggesting that the Nexus 10 2 might not be released anymore, or at least, it might be the last one on the line, because Google will be introducing a new program dubbed as Android Silver.
But if the Nexus 10 2 release date will still carry through, despite termination rumors, fans should not look forward to its arrival soon. The post on Gamer Headlines warns tech fans that the tablet might not be available soon with its post that reads, "Don't expect the Nexus 10 2 to be arriving any time soon though. From all accounts, mass-production of the new model will begin sometime in late July or early August, which means the Nexus 10 2 will be landing sometime during the winter Holidays or late fall at the earliest."
According to the latest Nexus 10 2 release date rumors, a leaked photo was posted on Android Police which hints that HTC is manufacturing the device, as cited on Ecumenical News. Furthermore, the said tablet's codename is "Volantis" and some of its specs, as posted on the site are aluminum body with "NEXUS" inscribed at the back and a 2048 X 1440 with 8.9-inch display with 221 dpi pixel density.
Meanwhile, previous claims suggests these possible Nexus 10 2 specs: 10.1- inch screen with a high-resolution display with pixel density of 330 PPI and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection; 8MP rear camera and 2.1MP for the front and NVIDIA Tegra 4, 3GB RAM and Adreno 330 GPU, as noted on Christian Today.
