Will Super Junior Beat Last Year's Record With Their Comeback?

'King of Korean Wave' Super Junior is coming back in 3 days. Many are anticipating another record like their previous albums.

Last year, Super Junior set the record for most albums sold and most music video hits, making them a leader in global K-pop.

First, if we look at their album sales you can see that they sold over 50,000 copies. For this new album, they are expecting the same, if not more than how much they sold last year. There are also many ways for international fans to purchase their album so it is safe to say that they will probably beat last year's album sales.

With their music video hits, it seems that they are trying to hit a new record with their new album, Sexy, Free&Single. Last year, with their song, "Mr. Simple," they reached over 480,000 views. They believe that they will be able to surpass that number this year. It seems that with every new song that they release, the number of hits they get increases.

We are curious to see if they will continue their record on the Taiwan charts. On the Taiwan chart, KKBOX, "Sorry Sorry" was first place for 36 weeks, "Beauty" for 63 weeks and "Mister Simple" for 45 weeks. They hope that this new album will continue with their first place streak on the charts.

Super Junior's world tour is said to have over 100,000 fans attending. Their previous tours, 'Super Show' Season 1, 2, and 3 have all had over 90,000 fans show. They hope that this year's tour will also break the record as well.

Super Junior's 6th album, "Sexy, Free&Single" will release on July 1. Their first stage performance will be on Mnet "M! Countdown" on July 5.
