Celebrity Workout Routines: Get The ‘Hercules’ Body With This Simple Fitness Program Inspired By Dwayne Johnson

Celebrity workout routines: The rock-hard abs, perfectly toned bicps, and the overall body fit for the gods is now within your reach. Fitness community Muscle & Strength has been inspired by Hercules star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s tweets to create a program that will help you gain the body that you’ve always wanted.

There is no more perfect time to start this fitness program than winter, said WorkoutLab Founder Brad Borland. When he wrote this workout, he specified that the routines are fairly simple and ultimately effective, at the cost of a brutal training.

But be warned: Borland cautioned that this Hercules-inspired workout is not for the faint heart. Like a Greek warrior, you are required to render a ton of effort. But through time, this fitness program guarantees a stronger and more muscular body that even the gods of Mount Olympus will fear.

To start your workout, always remember one thing: keep it simple. You don’t need complex exercise routines to build raw muscle and strength. What you need is to maximize every flex, twist, stretch, and lift for best results.

Revolve your program with simple, compound movements. According to the strength and conditioning specialist, multi-joint movements are the key to stimulate muscles.

Start off with the heavy weight training head on. Borland’s specific instructions in this exercise states that you need to train with a low rep range for three weeks. After that, go for moderate rep change for another three weeks, followed by another three weeks for lower rep change.

Another caution in this program is that you need to train for three days per week, in non-consecutive days. During the program, there are no “cheat days.” On rest days, you are encouraged to perform lighter and different activities that will still keep you stimulated.
