'Samurai Warriors 4' Release Date And US Release : Omega Force Releases New Gameplay Trailer, Watch Here [VIDEO]

Omega Force announced the "Samurai Warriors 4" release date as well as released a new trailer.

"Samurai Warriors 4" release dates in the US for PlayStation 3, 4 and Vita will be October 24.

"Samurai Warriors 4" promises plenty of enemies to mow down, with new attacks, gameplay systems and 55 playable characters. You can reportedly swap between characters mid-game and even explore the world with your own custom character.

As with previous entries, "Samurai Warriors 4" focuses on the Warring States era of Japan, which means central characters like Nobunaga Oda and Yukimura Sanada will make a return to the game. Though these characters are the same, their character models have been updated. Additionally, "Samurai Warrior 4" campaign is split into two parts: regional stories and the story of unification. "Samurai Warriors 4" will also feature online co-op and cross save.

Omega Force is right in line with a company such as Ubisoft. They somehow are able to produce multiple games each year that have very similar traits to one another. This year, we've already seen "Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends," "Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn" and "Toukiden: The Age of Demons," with "Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate," "Hyrule Warriors" and of course "Samurai Warriors 4" still on tap for the next couple of months.

Today, Omega Force has shared some footage from the PlayStation 4 version of "Samurai Warriors 4," displaying the hectic combat that has become emblematic of the series.

Slash your way through thousands of Japanese soldiers when "Samurai Warriors" release date is October 21 in North America, only on PS4, PSV and PS3.
