LeBron James News: LBJ Returns To Cleveland, "This Is What Makes Me Happy"

After four years in Miami and winning two NBA titles, the world's top basketball player is returning home.

In a Sports Illustrated exclusive, James wrote an essay why he chose to leave all the possibilities and potentials in South Beach, and decided to go to his roots in Northeast Ohio.

"..What's most important for me is bringing one trophy back to Northeast Ohio", the 29-year-old superstar said.

During his stint with the Heat, James built a formidable cast that was composed of the the top stars in their respective positions at that time. Dwyane Wade was leading the Heat to consecutive Playoffs apperances while Chris Bosh leads the Toronto Raptors in..well, points.

In their four seasons in South Beach, the Big Three was a force to reckon with, passing through most Playoff matches like it was nothing. There are only a handful of teams which gave the Heat a tough time, including the Pacers and Spurs recently. Most people would believe they could have easily won four straight championships if not for Dallas and the formidable Spurs squad, which was even poised to win the title last year.

"I've talked to some of them and will talk to others. Nothing will ever change what we accomplished. We are brothers for life", LBJ says of his two co-stars in Miami.

But now, all of that will change as James plans to become the 'old head' in Cleveland.

While the old Cavs team he has worked with during his stint is long gone, a new breed has risen, led by star point guard Kyrie Irving. 2013 first overall draft pick Anthony Bennett may not have contributed much, be he is still way ahead of his prime and has room to grow. Meanwhile, this year's first overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins has been tipped as one of the most athletically-gifted players the league has seen in years.

Of course, LBJ thinks about all of that, including his former teammate Anderson Varejao.

"And I can't wait to reunite with Anderson Varejao, one of my favorite teammates."

In James' Decision 2.0 essay, he also made it clear that it was not about Miami, its management, nor the coaching staff. It was about something else, something very special in his heart.

"I want kids in Northeast Ohio, like the hundreds of Akron third-graders I sponsor through my foundation, to realize that there's no better place to grow up."

While James definitely thought to end his career in Cleveland in the coming years, he may not be able to win a title with the team if he puts off his Return.

But with a young and inexperienced roster, an NBA title is certainly not assured for the Cavs this upcoming season.

But as LeBron says, "I'm ready to accept the challenge".
