Keith Urban Tour 2014 Begins With Teaser Appearance In NYC, Country Superstar Launches ‘Raise ‘Em Up’ Tour [VIDEO]

The Keith Urban Tour 2014 has kicked off with the country music superstar making an appearance on the popular morning show "Good Morning America" [WATCH]. Keith took the stage for part of the show's summer concert series, which takes place every week in New York City's Central Park.

The venue was full to the brim with Urban fans, and Nicole Kidman's husband didn't disappoint. The cheering crowd got a preview of what to expect on the "Raise 'Em Up" tour, with the Australian star strumming out three songs - "Somewhere In My Car", "You're Gonna Fly", and "Long Hot Summer".

With this latest Keith Urban Tour 2014 coming soon after wrapping up a previous tour, Keith was asked why he returned to performing so quickly.

"This, we do it for this!" said Keith, as he pointed towards his fans.

As he gets back on the road again to perform hits from his latest album "Fuse", along with old favorites from the likes of "Keith Urban", "Golden Road" and "Be Here", you can't help but wonder whether the father of two misses home life. But when he was asked about his daughters (one of whom just celebrated her birthday) and star actress wife Nicole Kidman, Keith was clear about how they operate to hectic touring life.

"If I'm out for longer than a few days, they come out on the road. All the girls do," said Keith.

The "Raise 'Em Up" tour is set to take the US by storm, with the Aussie country star rocking the American country charts for more than a decade. He's snapped up a couple of Grammys for his powerhouse tunes, and is well-accustomed to the success of going multi-platinum.

But the star of the Keith Urban Tour 2014 stays grounded - he and his crew even found time to shoot a quick Instagram video before the GMA show!
