‘Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice’ Spoilers: Death Of Superman Already Filmed? 'Historic Photo' Was Taken On The Set This Week! Will They Be Unveiled At Comic Con?

The spoilers for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" continue to consist of bits and pieces of anecdotes from people on the set. It's such an exciting event-the first time a live-action version of the DC Trinity will be showcased on screen. A 'historic moment' was recently captured-could it be the death of Superman?

The death of Superman has been the theme of most speculation. This is because of various leaked set photos depicting a broken Superman statue and a high profile funeral which had some Superman memorabilia.

Still, those are pure speculation and the context of the scene is not revealed.

The latest edition of spoilers from comicbook.com:

"For today, we have the words from Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice cinematographer Larry Fong. He tweeted a couple photos of Enos (Clay Enos, set photographer)doing some behind the scenes photos on a set draped in black cloth. Enos retweeted the photos and replied, 'What a fun, historic day. Thanks to everyone involved.'

Then, Fong added, 'Not gonna lie; I got a bit of the chills there for a second.'

So what could possibly be historic and cause chills? Well, since photos have already been released of both Batman and Superman, there are likely only a couple possibilities. It could be the first photos of Gal Gadot in costume as Wonder Woman, which would certainly be historic. It could also have been the first photos of the Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman together."

Gal Gadot has not been seen in the Wonder Woman costume. In fact, the Wonder Woman costume by itself has not been seen. It should be noted that Wonder Woman, Batman and Superman have not shared a live action silver screen ever. A photo of them together would be historic in itself.

But what if it's something more significant and spine chilling? We do not know how they schedule their shoots but if there is a death of Superman angle, would that be it?

Maybe we'll find out at Comic Con, or maybe not. Fong was asked that question:

"Weeks!? We've just started filming this thing. I'm as excited as the next guy, but my stuff won't be seen for quite some time."

When asked if the trinity might appear on EW's Comic Con issue, Enos replied, "Maybe in 2015. Usually that stuff is made towards to end of filming or just after wrap."

That sounds reasonable. Remember the 25 comic book covers Empire launched for "X-Men: Days of Future Past?" The movie was Fox's most successful superhero movie to date. It's a safe bet Warner will do the same weeks before "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" opens on May 6, 2016.
