Team USA Basketball: Paul George Vows Revenge? Indiana Pacers' Star Will Be 'More Physical' Next Season! Will He Test His Post Moves in The World Championships?

The new Team USA training camp roster was released and it was no surprise that Paul George was a part of the 19 man pool. However, we might see a very different side of his game..something he wasted no time developing.

Paul George hardly took a vacation as he went straight to the gym to 'get more physical.' George is a man on a mission. He failed to achieve his goal last year and now it serves as blazing fuel for him to work even harder. The Indianapolis Star had an in-depth interview with their star cager.

"I plan on being a lot more physical this year. I really plan on taking contact and wanting to get contact and finishing through contact. That's the next step for me."

No less than  Pacers President of Basketball Operations Larry Bird, the legend who won three championships and three MVP awards with the Boston Celtics said he would like to see George post up more.

"Get down in the post. Take some of these younger guys down there and work out of the post, not only to score but to create double teams and opportunities for his teammates to have better looks at the basket," Bird said.

"Right now it's making sure I'm eating right. I want to put weight on the right way. I've been doing so slowly, but surely. I've been gaining a little weight and putting on a little size."

George, as expected, will be one of the 19 players that will join the USA Basketball national team training camp July 28 in Las Vegas, is seriously watching what he eats.

"I got a chef helping me on what I put in my body. It's been night and day as far as my performance on the court. That's been the key for me working on my body. No more McDonald's."

George said he is confident his teammates are working on improving this offseason. The addition of 6-6 shooting guard C.J. Miles, 6-10 Croatian sharpshooter Damjan Rudez and re-signing Lavoy Allen will help strengthen the bench, George said.

"We say it every year and we improve every year." The recipient of the 2013 Most Improved Player Award knows how to get it done. It's not an accident--it takes hard work.
