Emma Stone Interview Revelation [WATCH]: Which Famous Character Did She Name Her First Pet After? Emma Spills The Beans! [VIDEO]

Emma Stone's interview on Wednesday morning in New York City revealed a new bit of info for her fans! The 25-year-old actress appeared on "Good Morning America" live from Times Square to promote her upcoming film "Magic in the Moonlight" with co-star Colin Firth.

"Magic in the Moonlight" is the latest flick from legendary director Woody Allen, and when the topic of her aforementioned director came up, Emma had an interesting fact to share. In the Emma Stone interview, when asked by the GMA host whether it was true the actress had actually named her dog after the character of Alvy Singer in Woody Allen's classic film "Annie Hall", Emma nodded.

"I did yeah, years ago," said the "Easy A" star. "I named my dog Alvy."

The host pressed on, asking how Woody Allen took that news, seeing as Emma was one of the stars of his new film. But it soon became pretty clear that the actress hadn't brought the topic up with her director at all!

"He doesn't know that," replied Stone. "Oh god! He knows now!"

Firth joked that the audience - which was huge considering it's just one of the United States' staple breakfast shows! - should just keep it to themselves.

"He'll never see this," was Emma Stone's interview response, as she laughed with the GMA host and her co-star Firth.

"Magic in the Moonlight" is a romantic comedy revolving around the characters of Stanley and Sophie, played by Colin Firth and Emma Stone respectively. An Englishman is brought in to help unmask a possible swindle, and personal and professional complications ensue, according to IMDB.

The film also features Hamish Linklater, Marcia Gay Harden and Australian star Jacki Weaver. "Magic in the Moonlight" is set to have a limited release in the USA on July 25, 2014.
