Iggy Azalea’s ‘Fancy’ Reign Ends! Aussie Rapper No Longer Topping The US Charts, Bumped By MAGIC!’s ‘Rude'

Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" stronghold on the top spot of the US Billboard Hot 100 has ended! After seven weeks leading the summer music charge, the Aussie rapper's hit featuring Charli XCX has slipped to second position.

"MAGIC!'s 'Rude', [is] the Canadian pop/reggae group's tale of a groom-to-be who won't be denied, regardless of his potential father-in-law's disapproval," writes Billboard.

But while Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" may not be holding that coveted top spot any longer, the Mullumbimby-born star still has a lot to be proud of. The Charli XCX collaboration achieved one of the longest runs at number one for a female artist this decade - super impressive for any artist, let alone a country girl from the land down under!

This slip to number two is just another story in what's been a busy week for the 24-year-old. She started it by dancing the two-step at a cowboy-themed festival when she opened a show for Snoop Dogg, and has been the subject of a brutal diss track from Californian MC Madd Mary.

"When you claimed to be the realest it had me in stitches, nothing about you is authentic, what the hell are you sniffing," rapped Mary. "You talk it, we live it, you moderately gifted mimic, parasitic, synthetic, expressionless gimmick."

There's still been no response from Iggy to the track.

Iggy Azalea tour dates coming up include a show at the Boulevard Pool in Las Vegas, Nevada on July 26 and the Lifestyle Communities Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio on July 31.

The Aussie chart-topper will also be hitting up Lollapalooza 2014 in Chicago in early August, then heading up to Montreal for the Ilesoniq Festival in the middle of the month. Fans on the other side of the Atlantic need not feel like they're missing out on "The New Classic" either - she'll be heading over to London mid-September.
