Limp Bizkit May Release Their New Album Next Year; Why Is The Record Taking So Long?

The new Limp Bizkit album is still nowhere to be found and is starting to look like that the Nu-Metal band from Florida has stopped the progress of their supposed 2015 release "Stampede Of The Disco Elephants."

Early this year, Wes Borland gave an update as to which point the band is done with their record. In an interview that was reported by Team Rock, the guitarist revealed that they were just waiting for singer Fred Durst to finish his vocal tracks before everything falls in to place.

"Fred has been working on vocals in his home studio nonstop for months and months," Borland said.

He also stated how the singer tends to re-take multiple vocal tracks all the time and that they have been working for at least 28 songs.

"He's told me that he's almost finished, but I don't know what amount of the 28 songs has been finished," he added. I know that he re-records and trashes vocals all the time."

"I don't know, I think he's in a mode where he's liking something that he's doing and not liking other stuff," he added while still talking about the supposed new album from Limp Bizkit. "But I think he's just now starting to feel a lot more confident in what he's putting in the songs."

In the same interview, the face-painted guitarist may be expressing his disappointment with their progress, claiming how the disc could've been done this year.

"To be blatantly honest about it, the new album has gone through so many different alterations and so many different session," the Limp Bizkit guitarist said. "I mean, we've gone into five different studios now. I think we're up to 28 songs, or maybe even more. And those are completed songs."

As for the release date, with no progress or news heard from Limp Bizkit up to now, the new album may be expected to come out next year, even if the band finishes with recording this year.
