Philadelphia 76ers News: Brighter Days Ahead For City Of Brotherly Love; Dario Saric And Joel Embiid Arriving Soon?

Brighter days are nearing for the Philadelphia 76ers as more support will be arriving sooner than expected.

Jahlil Okafor is living up to his status as the most NBA-ready prospect of this year's draft while Nerlens Noel is also holding his own on the defensive end of the court.

Now, their other prized center, Joel Embiid is said to be healing at a terrific pace but it is not a guarantee that he will make his debut this season.

"Our doctors are saying it's going ahead of schedule, but at the end of the day we know we have to show you and not just tell you," O'Neil said via CSN Philly. "I will tell you that he is an elite talent, and I think he will be an elite player in this league."

Meanwhile, another top rookie from last year, Dario Saric, is making his way to the NBA next year as his contract with his Euroleague team will be ending soon.

'I'm in constant contact with the Sixers," Saric told Croatia's JutarnjiList. "They wanted me to come this summer, but I couldn't get out of the contract. Next summer I have a way out, and I'm gonna take it. I'll try to go out as the Euroleague champion. That's the dream.'"

Although Saric is not tearing it up in the international competition, the experience it provided will help him significantly when he begins his NBA journey.

"I can't say I'm happy with the situation," Saric said. "But it's not all that bad. The decision to come to Efes was my own, and I don't regret it. What if I had gone to the NBA immediately and failed 'cause I was still inexperienced, and now I'd be looking to come back to Europe? I have my own way to achieve my goal."
