'Halo 5' Master Chief Helmet Creation Auctioned For Charity, Anyone Who Can Outbid $34,300?

“Halo 5” Master Chief helmet gets a makeover for a good cause.

Raising funds for a good cause are always a good thing, especially with the holidays around the corner. Each person or organization have their own way of getting people to donate to a good cause, in this case it would be with the use of a “Halo 5” Master Chief helmet for the non-profit organization, the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

According to IGN, the helmet was the brainchild of a Taiwanese cosplayer by the name of Hsu Chia-Hao and of Australian Designer Jenny Manik Mercian. They created a life-sized “Halo 5” Master Chief helmet and went the extra mile by adorning it with 25,000 Swarovski crystals.

The helmet weighs a good 5 kilograms (or 11 pounds) and is one of a kind. There probably wont be anything like in the world unless Mercian and Hsu decide to produce another one.

The crystal-studded item is available on eBay where the current bid is at $34,300 after 121 online bids.

Anyone who is willing to outbid all the others should take note that, while there may be a shipping fee, it can be shipped to anywhere around the world.

The “Halo 5:Guardians” video game is a first-person shooter video game in the “Halo” video game series by 343 Industries.

The official description of the game reads “ A mysterious and unstoppable force threatens the galaxy, the Master Chief is missing and his loyalty questioned.

“Experience the most dramatic Halo story to date through the eyes of the Master Chief and Blue Team, and Spartan Locke and Fireteam Osiris – in a 4-player cooperative epic that spans three worlds.”

“Halo 5: Guardians” was just released last Oct. 27, 2015.
