Psy Announces 'Gangnam Style' Follow-Up Album With 'Unique Musicality' For December 1

International sensation Psy (Park Jae Sang) will be making his comeback to the K-pop music scene on Dec. 1.

On Tuesday, Nov. 3, YG Entertainment shared a poster for Psy's return on the agency's official blog. The rapper also tweeted the image to his four million followers with the hashtag #newPSYshit20151201.

Psy's upcoming album will mark three years and five months since he released the album PSY 6 in July 2012. The previous album contained the smash hit single "Gangnam Style," the music video for which is the most-watched video on YouTube and currently has 2.4 billion views.

Since then, Psy has released two follow-up singles, "Gentleman" and "Hangover," the latter which featured American rap icon Snoop Dogg.

Expectations for Psy's return are high as he promised fans at the 2014 All Night Stand concert he would come back to his roots and bring a "unique musicality."

Back on December 1, 2014, Psy's record label, YG Entertainment, updated fans regarding the delay of his new single "Daddy," saying it would be included on the upcoming album. "Daddy" was initially postponed due to Psy's ongoing album reparations.
