It's time of the week again and for fans craving for "One Piece" episode 717, read on!
Last episode, Franky knocks out Senor Pink but when they were about to attack the SMILE factory, the Straw Hat shipwright also lost consciousness. The scene shifts to Kyros and Diamante pushing on with their battle and Diamante finally unveils his ultimate technique wherein spiked balls made of metal fall down from the sky that can obliterate an army.
Robin was able to fend off some of it while protecting Rebecca as well. Kyros, meanwhile is also able to block the metal balls using his sword and he makes the jump for Diamante. However, the top executive shoots him with a gun on his leg which rendered him unable to avoid the sharp balls. However, when Diamante began talking about how he killed Scarlet using the same gun, Kyros stand back up and flies toward Diamante.
This might annoy some fans as the episode felt dragged. It was supposed to be a one chapter = one episode but it wasn't even able to finish the chapter. Here's a spot-on review from The Daily Fandom about "One Piece" anime horrible pacing.
In this episode, Kyros' will finally be able to defeat Diamante and the series might finally move to Zoro vs. Pica. This episode will cover some the events of "One Piece" chapter 777 and here is a brief synopsis of the episode courtesy of "One Piece" wiki.
"Kyros defeats Diamante, and Viola tells the news to the others. Kyros and Rebecca then remember Scarlett at her grave. However, Pica is avoiding Zoro to prey on Kyros and the other injured Colosseum gladiators. Zoro manages to distract him, but Pica then heads toward King Riku. After thinking of and dismissing several plans, Zoro decides to just attack Pica with a fifth plan: destroying his enemy."
