Britney Spears Almost Done With New Album? Singer Hints Possible Tracks?

Britney Spears recently confirmed that she is back in the studio and is working on her new album full time and that the singer may have hinted about the record in a recent statement.

According to a recent report by Inquistr, while playing regularly in her regular shows in Las Vegas, the princess of pop revealed hints in her social media accounts of the new Britney Spears album.

"Just finished recording some vox," Spears shared. "Love this song. It makes me smile, and I hope it will make you smile too... #B9"

"[Britney] recently shared a captionless photo of herself in the studio and just last week revealed that she'd finished recording vocals on one song and shared the cryptic hashtag 'B9.' Whether 'B9' refers to her new album, time will tell," a report from Billboard reportedly stated.

Meanwhile, another report from Inquistr stated that Britney Spears may include a cover from Ace Of Base in her new album.

According to the site, an unreleased track from Spears from 2008 was recently revealed and could fit the upcoming record well.

"The song was never released and barely even saw the light of day, a wrong that definitely should be righted," a report from Metro claimed. "The original song was released in 1993 by the Swedish group and it peaked at number two. It's never too late, Britters. Get it out there now!"

At the same time, Ulf Ekberg of Ace Of Base recently talked to ET Online and talked about Spears and how she worked on the song.

"They wanted to release it, but that was a difficult time for her," Ekberg said. "It was only in Denmark, never finished and didn't end up on her album. It was cool though. She took the choruses, took away the verses and wrote new ones about her mom. It was very strong."
