One Republic is reportedly back in the scene, as they get ready for their new album release, which may be expected in 2016.
Singer Bryan Tedder recently talked to CBC News and revealed their plans for the new One Republic album, which may include its release date.
In the report, Tedder and bandmate Drew Brown revealed some details about the record including how the upcoming release would be their best thing that they have ever done.
"We're really excited about it, we think it's the best thing that we've ever done," Brown said.
Furthermore, the singer also shared his thoughts about the record and revealed how the song writing process worked for them.
The singer also stated that fans may hear a little bit of what they did before but have a new twist on their tracks.
"In this band, we are yet to recycle the same sound once on any song that we've ever put out. This album is no exception," Tedder said.
"We're just normal people. We just like to write songs that make people feel something and move them."
Meanwhile, a report from Media Mass reported that an unnamed source recently talked about the new album from One Republic.
The report also stated how the band plans to go on a world tour by the end of 2016, although there are no concrete plans laid out by the group as of now.
"It's still in the early stages," the source reportedly said about the band's follow up to their 2013 release "Native." "They got security on the doors to ensure no-one hears a whisper."
There are no official reports or confirmation from the band revealing the real progress of the new album from One Republic. However, some fans believe that they would be able to hear the upcoming release from the group by 2016.
