English 'Neko Atsume' Game Has A Glitch, The Cats Don't Like Visiting Apple Users

The English “Neko Atsume” game has a glitch that might affect the gameplay.

Ever since smartphones users discovered the “Neko Atsume” Japanese mobile game, they’ve become addicted to cat collecting even if they don’t understand the instructions. The recent release of an English “Neko Atsume” version is a godsend for everyone who put up with the Japanese version of the game.

While users were beginning to catch on to the cat-collecitng craze, a user on Reddit found that there was a slight glitch on the iOS version.

Reddit user Flinkle noticed that the cats would visit Android users twice as much as when they’d visit Apple users. However, it wasn’t just the visits that were different, even the amount of fish the two devices received was different as well.

While it may seem like some sort of coincidence, Flinkle isn’t the only one experiencing this kind of glitch.

The game was originally made for Android phones and just got an iOS version developed for the English “Neko Atsume.” It could reportedly be because the creators of the game had to adjust the Android mobile game to work on Apple devices.

There is no news from the developers, Hit-Point Co., on whether this glitch is going to be fixed or if is just a slow start for those playing the English “Neko Atsume” game on Apple devices.

“Neko Atsume” is a Japanese mobile game where players are supposed to attract cats to their houses by putting out toys and food. Apart from caring for the adorable furry felines, players are also able to collect the cats that come to visit. There are even rare cats that only visit if a particular food or item is left out for the cats to go to.
