U2 is working on a new album "Songs Of Experience" as a follow up to their 2014 record "Songs Of Innocence," which gained a lot of exposure after it was uploaded to almost all Apple devices for free.
In an Entertainment Weekly report, U2 is reportedly working on their new album while on tour, which might see the light of day anytime in 2016.
"We're playing out of our skins at the moment," Bono recently said. "It's pathetic it took us 35 years to be the band we've always wanted to be. It's a wild thing to be in it. Our friend, Noel Gallagher, came to a show and said to us, 'You're starting with the encore?'"
The singer further stated how they have a new song for the upcoming album ready, which was written by Edge.
"We're well into it," he said. "Edge just came up with a cracker the other day! It's provisionally titled 'Tightrope.'"
Meanwhile, following the tragic events that happened in Paris, U2 singer Bono narrated how the whole thing happened in their perspective, as the group was rehearsing for a show just three miles away from the Bataclan concert.
In a report by CNN, the musician-philanthropist revealed how the whole team reacted to the incident how they were preparing for their tour and the new U2 album.
"Our security locked it down pretty quickly and we got our team and our crew out of there safely," Bono said in an interview. "We came to the back door of the hotel. Everyone congregated and watched the TV like everybody else in disbelief with what was happening. We're all safe."
"It's very upsetting. These are our people. This could be me at a show. You at a show, in that venue. It's a very recognizable situation for you and for me and the coldblooded aspect of this slaughter is deeply disturbing and that's what I can't get out of my head."
