YG Entertainment is at it again.
The Korean entertainment agency's latest teaser campaign has people scratching their head trying to decipher which artist is making a comeback on Nov. 21. Without clarifying who the end of month release is from, YG has garnered a lot of attention towards two artists.
Based on a series of images, it appears that YG Entertainment soloists CL of 2NE1 or Lee Hi will be releasing new music next week.
Several images were shared on different official YG Entertainment accounts, leading many to be believe that it could be a reference to CL's upcoming song "Hello Bitches," or a solo comeback from Lee Hi.
The letters C,L,S,E,I,O,L,H,B, and a plus sign were shared by YG Entertainment's official account and Big Bang's G-Dragon and Taeyang, as well as 2NE1's Dara and CL.
Combined, the images could be configured to spell "Hello Bi+ches," or the title of a song that CL announced in September.
CL shared "C+L," making many believe that the Nov. 21 will be hers, along with the fact that the date is a reference to CL's group, 2NE1.
The inclusion of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Dara in the teaser campaign has also led to some speculation that the three are collaborating with CL on her upcoming track.
Alternatively, the letters also include soloist Lee Hi's name, resulting in further confusion. Lee Hi has not released any solo music this year, and is working on her next album with Epik High's Tablo under the label HIGHGRND.
YG Entertainment shared articles on its official website about the confusion, leaving it up in the air without clarifying.
The agency didn't release an official statement regarding the release, but asked fans to wait until Nov. 21 at 11PM to see who the artist is.
