Verbal Jint To Start An Independent Label Under Brand New Music

Verbal Jint (Kim Jin Tae) will be starting his own record label.

Verbal Jint will be establishing his own record label under his current agency, Brand New Music. Rhymer, founder of Brand New Music, is giving his full support to Verbal Jint's plan.

According to the agency on Tuesday, Nov. 10, Verbal Jint has always expressed a desire to create his own record label, and develop new musicians to the K-pop and hip-hop music scene.

"Rhymer and Verbal Jint go beyond the formal relationship as a producer and artist, being close enough to each other as a family," said a Brand New Music representative, as reported by K-Pop Herald.

At this time, Verbal Jint has not yet provided the exact name and overall trait for his independent record label.

Though Brand New Music revealed that Verbal Jint's independent label will not focus only on hip-hop.

While Verbal Jint gets ready to start his own record label, he will be releasing a new album late this month.

In addition, Verbal Jint recently worked with fellow label mate San E, for their first Japanese showcase on Nov. 14 performing at the Duo Music Exchange in Shibuya, Tokyo.

Verbal Jint made his debut in 2001 with mini EP Modern Rhymes. His previous activity was being featured in Girls' Generation's Taeyeon's solo debut single titled "I."
