FTISLAND vocalist Lee Hong Ki is creeping up everywhere these days.
On Nov. 22, the Korea Herald revealed Lee Hong Ki as the host of an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live Korea episode. He follows Wonder Girls, actor Kim Sang Joong, and Korean rock band YB as hosts of this season of Saturday Night Live Korea. The singer's label mates, girl group AOA, will host the show this coming weekend (Nov. 28).
Lee Hong Ki is no stranger to the small screen. He has starred and made appearances in many television dramas and variety programs. Judging by his previous television experience, fans of Hong Ki are expected a fun and energetic show from the talented star.
Lee Hong Ki made his solo debut earlier this month with the EP FM302. His album features an array of sounds and styles, showcasing Hong Ki's talent and versatility as a vocalist. The music video for his title track "Insensible" also garnered a lot of attention for the chemistry displayed between Hong Ki and his long-time friend Park Shin Hye.
Although this is his first venture as a solo artist he has been one of the most recognizable members of the Korean rock group FTISLAND for the past nine years.
Lee Hong Ki's episode of Saturday Night Live Korea will air on Dec. 5 at 9:45 PM KST.
