Synopsis/Recap:
This week's episode begins with Lindo blessing Ritsuka and warning her that the festival will likely be full of vampires and devils. He apologizes for the scratches just as Azuna arrives. They both escort Ritsuka to the festival.
Rem tells the rest of the boys about Loewen's betrayal and claims that the grimoire is hidden in Vienna instead of with the Tachibana family. He also claims that he's already sent men to retrieve the grimoire. The other boys plan on trying to snatch the grimoire ahead of Rem, who contemplates what to do to save Ritsuka.
At the festival, Ritsuka serves pastries and is summoned out of her booth by Urie, who asks her to be his dance partner later that night. Ritsuka rejects him, and then Mage shows up and spits Ritsuka the story from Rem that the grimoire is in Vienna. He then asks to be Ritsuka's dance partner, and he also gets rejected.
While Urie and Mage argue, Shiki tries his hand and realizes that Ritsuka's scene has changed. Azuna shows up to stop the madness. Luckily for Ritsuka, a bunch of fangirls grabs the guys and whisks them off. Azuna warns Ritsuka that devils lie all the time and she shouldn't believe them.
Later at the dance, Ritsuka finds that she's declared the queen of the dance due to her drink having a crown in it. Rem arrives, and his drink has the other crown, making him king. Ritsuka and Rem must dance together.
During the dance, Ritsuka thanks Rem for saving her all those times. They seem to fall in love during this dance, and then fireworks begin outside. But then Rem walks away, seemingly not interested.
Ritsuka, Azuna, and Lindo walk home. Suddenly a bunch of vampires appear and demand the sacred tome. Azuna and Lindo try to protect Ritsuka, but Azuna is killed.
