After Mick Jagger and Keith Richards revealed their thoughts about The Rolling Stones, reports about a new album from the group emerge and revealed that the band is starting with the recording.
As stated by The Toronto Sun, guitarist Ronnie Wood recently claimed that the Stones are hitting the studios this month to start a new album for The Rolling Stones.
Wood revealed in an ABC Radio interview how they plan to take things one step at a time but start soon.
"We'll maybe go in the studio in December and cut a few tracks and see what happens," he said. "We'll take it from there, see how it all goes. One thing at a time."
In a recent interview of Entertainment Weekly with Keith Richards, the 71-year-old musician revealed that they initially had plans of to hit the studios by next year, but revealed that he has been trying to get everyone back on the drawing board, as they prepare for a series of tours early next year.
"After we do South America in February and March [2016], I'd love to get in the studio in April," Richards explained about the progress of the new album from The Rolling Stones. "But I know what those guys are like. When they finish a tour, they don't want to do nothing!"
"I'm trying to get the Stones into the studio," he said about the new album from The Rolling Stones. "But I don't quite honestly see it happening this year."
Meanwhile, vocalist Mick Jagger revealed in an interview that was reported by Ultimate Classic Rock that he already has a few songs lined up for the band.
"I've got a lot of new songs, and songs I've written over the last couple of years," Jagger said, describing the new Rolling Stones album. "I've done really good demos for all of them, which I would love to record. I'd love to record a Stones album."
