Jeremy Lin Not Leaving Charlotte Hornets Despite Trade Rumors? Linsanity A Gem In The Team?

Jeremy Lin is no longer as popular as he was when Linsanity grew popular when he was with the New York Knicks. Now, with the Charlotte Hornets, the point guard seemingly has been on the background lately.

As told on NBA.com, the Hornets currently was number nine in the team standings for the eastern conference of the league win 10 wins and eight losses.

Despite the team standing, Lin's gameplay was purportedly not as impressive as it used to be. According to Hoop Habit, this was likely because of another point guard on the hardcourt - Kemba Walker. It was mentioned that Jeremy Lin was only able to unleash his Linsanity strength during a Charlotte Hornets game when Kemba Walker was not with him on the court.

In spite of the situation and not being to reportedly play a bigger role in team of late, Lin was happy where he was now.

"We had a few teams on our list we thought would be good,'' he revealed to the New York Post. "Funny how God works things out. Charlotte wasn't on the top-six list, but I ended up here. That's how it ends up for me. It always ends up the way I never imagined. Ever. I wasn't surprised. I'll be surprised when things are pretty smooth and clear.''

At the moments as presented on ESPN, Lin commands 10.4 points per game - a fact that owner and former NBA player himself Michael Jordan might reportedly appreciate.

"We just got Jeremy Lin, who I think is going to be our biggest acquisition," he told Xinhua News Agency as quoted by NBC Sports. "His penetration, his shooting capability, his point guard savvy, he can really pass the basketball, his energy about the game of basketball something."

Jeremy Lin signed in to the Charlotte Hornets only in July. The point guard that made the term Linsanity popular has two years in the team at $4.3 million.
