He may have been in the Korean military for over a year, but Kim Jaejoong is set to drop a new album.
Kim, a member of the K-pop trio JYJ, will release his second solo EP in February. His agency, C-JeS Entertainment announced the news last Friday, revealing that the album consists of tracks that were prerecorded before Kim enlisted in the Korean military.
While he's serving, Kim Jaejoong is definitely not letting his fans down.
"Kim's new album features self-written songs and those compsed by renowned overseas artists," a C-jes rep said, according to the K-Pop Herald.
Jaejoong's second EP will be different from his previously rock-heavy album, and will include more pop elements.
Along with dropping an album while in the military, Kim will host a virtual, hologram concert in Tokyo next year. The "2016 Kim Jaejoong's Second Album Hologram Real Live in Japan" will be held on Feb. 9 and Feb. 10.
This is Kim Jaejoong's third album, following his 2013 debut EP "I" and his first studio album, "WWW," also from 2013.
